Monthly General Meeting

Wednesday 21 June 2017 at 10 a.m.

At this meeting our speaker was Andrew Rogers who told us his wonderful story of how he came to go in a submersible pod and spend 11 hours descending nearly 4000 metres to the ocean floor, where he viewed and filmed the Titanic and then ascended back to the surface again. It made such an impression on him that he has spent 20 years since, researching all things Titanic.

Monthly General Meeting

Wednesday 17 May 2017 at 10 a.m.

AUSTRALIA’S BIGGEST MORNING TEA  is held across   Australia in May each year organised by the Cancer Council of   Australia as a fund raiser.  Each year, our Computer Club has   supported this event and we again hosted our own BMT at this   meeting.

We enjoyed out speaker Patrick Dodd’s presentation on “John   Macarthur Visionary or Villain” and the wonderful morning tea   supplied by our volunteers.  We raised a total of$640 for the   cancer council which they were happy to receive from us.   THANK   YOU to all our generous members who contributed to   this fantastic amount.
